Luka Koper – North Pier Extension Construction Site
On May 26, 2025, the Euro Adria Challenge G.E.I.E. – E.G.I.Z. group completed the dredging work in the construction site area for the expansion of the North Pier in the port of Luka Koper.

The work involved a quantity of dredged material of approximately 80,000 cubic meters. As President of the Euro Adria Challenge group, I wanted to underline the great professionalism of the EMarine company (a member of our group) for the excellent work carried out. The work was carried out within the established timeframes, in fact we managed to reduce the times thanks to the excellent feeling that was established with the client Kolektor and the technical managers of Luka Koper. Thanks to the crew of the Gioacchino motor vessel who carried out the dredging with skill and availability, never received any criticism of our work in the weekly control meetings but only compliments. Thanks also to the Kolektor Construction Site Manager Vili Batic and all his collaborators, it was a pleasure to work with you and to the technical managers of the Molo Nord construction site for Luka Koper, in particular Tanja Vizintin.
